PROJECT TYPE: System Map, Research & Content Development
CLIENT: Personal project
This system map is part of an extensive research project on urban wildlife relationships. Content was gathered from coyote behaviour studies, peer-reviewed articles, government documents, and interviews with wildlife management officers and canid specialists.
This piece provides an example of the multi-layered problems I enjoy diving into and the depth of research I believe is important when approaching complex problems. Historical, societal, psychological, and environmental factors all play a large role in the relationship we have with urban coyotes. By visualizing these elements, I hoped to highlight the role we as individuals play in this relationship and empower the public to shift their ideology around urban coyotes.
